Before You Buy CBD Oil Read This, You Will Thank Us!

If you’re looking to buy CBD products of any kind, you have come to the right place! CBD products are all over the internet and all over the shelves of stores right now and it is difficult to find some wholesome and honest information on CBD. So here it is, finally, an honest article on what CBD is, where you can buy it, why you should NOT purchase it on Amazon, eBay, Google, Facebook or any market place of the like and what the heck is the difference between hemp oil and CBD oil anyway?

Before you continue, I want to put down some definitions of some words that may not be particularly familiar to you:

Cannabinoid – Any of a group of closely related compounds which include cannabinol (CBD) and the active constituents of cannabis. The two most commonly known cannabinoids being THC & CBD.

Cannabidiol (CBD) – One of the most well studied cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, this is what many people and medical professionals claim to relieve stress, help you sleep, relieve anxiety, relieve pain, etc.

Now that we got that out of the way let me start off by saying this – we run a company that sells genuine CBD products and we can tell you, first hand, that there are (and probably won’t be in the foreseeable future) NO legitimate CBD products on any mainstream retail websites such as Amazon, Google, Facebook, eBay. This is because they all prohibit the sale of CBD on their sites. Now you may be thinking “but I see CBD products all over Amazon, eBay, Google.. etc. etc.” My answer to this is the following: you see products that are listed as ‘hemp oil’ or some variation of ‘hemp extract’ on these websites. The hemp oil that is sold on these sites contain no cannabinoids and have none of the medicinal benefits of CBD or any other cannabinoid. This leads us to the question you all may be asking:

What the heck is the difference between hemp oil and CBD oil anyway?

Hemp oil is extracted from the hemp seed. Hemp oil has no medicinal benefits past providing you with you daily nutritional value of protein, fat & carbs. A good comparison to hemp oil and CBD oil would be if you compared barley seed oil and beer. Now, you do in fact need barley seeds to create the barley that you then use to create malted barley for most beers that you consume. That doesn’t mean that you can extract the oil from the seed of barley and get drunk off it. There is a process in between that consists of growing the plant, harvesting the plant & then processing it to create beer. This stays true for hemp oil and CBD oil. To create CBD oil you must grow the hemp plant, harvest it and then process it to create CBD oil. To conclude, everything you can purchase on main stream retail sites are mainly sold under the false precedent that hemp oil and CBD oil are the same thing. They are not!

Now that we know the difference between hemp oil and CBD oil and why the evil people at Amazon, Google, etc. are trying to deceive you to get your money, let’s finally have a look at what CBD oil is & where you can get it.

CBD oil is Cannabidiol is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants and accounts for up to 40% of the plant's extract. In 2018, clinical research on cannabidiol included preliminary studies of anxiety, cognition, movement disorders, and pain. If you want to know more about the benefits of CBD check out this article.
